"I’m always in complete awe over these productions! The kids have such a short time to prepare - it’s truly incredible what you can do with them!" ~Vanessa V.
"You are a wonderful educator and best teaching actor we ever met. My kids are so lucky they found you." ~Silke S.
Our students learn the fundamental techniques to help them gain the confidence, enthusiasm and skills needed to become a great performer!
Imagine Works Youth Theatre believes that every child can follow their dreams! Through our affordable, individualized training, students learn at their own level, being challenged and inspired. We are a unique program in which our students perform musicals and plays on a professional Off-Broadway stage for agents, managers and casting directors!
The performing arts are a wonderful form of self expression, and a great way for kids to gain important life skills such as public speaking and collaboration. Our experienced instructors have professional performing credits across the country and are full of advice on the industry.
We offer a variety of different classes for ages 8-18. All sessions end with a showcase or main-stage production. We have produced over 17 main stage plays and musicals since we began in 2013. Some of our past shows include "Newsies", "Urinetown," "Twelfth Night", "Into the Woods," "Mary Poppins," "The Addams Family," "Pride & Prejudice," and more! These performances showcase each student and their growth in the program.
Alumni of our programs have gone on to star in Broadway's "Matilda", as well as sign with top agencies, book commercials, films, pilots, web-series, and lead roles in their school shows! Our students have also been accepted to respected arts universities such as NYU's Steinhardt and Tisch School of the Arts, Boston Conservatory, Emerson College, Marymount Manhattan College, and Muhlenberg College. You can also see alumni at NYC performing arts high schools, such as PPAS (middle & high school), Laguardia High School, Frank Sinatra High School, and Talented Unlimited High School!
We are extremely proud of our students, and passionate about sharing our love of the arts with the new creative generation!

CAMP IMAGINE IS STILL ON!
We've had a lot of parents asking us about camp this summer. At the moment, Camp Imagine 2020 is still ON for this summer! Now more than ever it is important to give kids something to look forward to and we are so excited for this summer.
Of course we know that this is subject to whether the state is ready to re-open theatres. We do not want to risk the health and safety of our students and instructors. We are playing everything by ear, however we are hoping that camp will go on as usual. Check back here every week to see the latest news regarding Camp Imagine 2020.

CORONA VIRUS UPDATE
Our new performance dates of "The Little Mermaid JR" will be announced soon. Our dedicated students have been practicing remotely and will be prepared to knock your socks off when they are finally able to show you their hard work and talent.
Camp Imagine 2020 is still ON for this summer! Now more than ever it is important to give kids something to look forward to and we are so excited for this summer.
Why is Camp Imagine a great choice for teens & tweens this summer?
1. We are small. We are only accepting between 20-25 campers in our entire program. We also only have 4-5 staff members. Campers and staff will not be exposed to as many people as they would in a much larger camp.
2. Health and safety are our top priority. We will continue efforts to keep our students safe by providing hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes at all times. We will be cleaning all door handles, light switches, props and materials several times a day to be sure our campers stay healthy.
3. Flexible payment plans. We know that times have been financially hard for many parents/guardians. We want to make it easy to create a flexible, stress-free payment plan for you so that your child can enjoy camp. Contact us if you would like create an individualized payment schedule for the summer.
