OUR CLASSES

Located in NYC, Imagine Works offers a variety of classes & performance opportunities year round for tweens & teens!

FALL ACTING INTENSIVE & MAIN STAGE PLAY

In this class for tweens & teens ages 11-17, students will delve deeper into Shakespeare, Stanislatvsky, Adler, Meisner, Strasberg, and Uta Hagen acting techniques, as well as improvisation, voice & speech, and movement. This class is also combined with a production of a main stage play TBD. Students will rehearse for this play in the final two hours of class.

Begins Saturday September 12th at 1:00pm-4:00pm. Final performances on December 12th and 13th. Auditions for the play will take place on the first day of class. There is no class on 10/31 and 11/28.

*Ages 11-17 ONLY. Students must be 11yrs. by the 1st class.*

Students will hone their vocal technique and harmony skills in the first part of class, and put up solo numbers, small ensemble numbers, and large ensemble numbers in the second part of class.

This class is a great way to keep students' musical theatre skills fresh for Imagine Works' Spring and Summer Musical Theatre classes or to prepare for an upcoming school audition. Students taking this class will not only leave more confident, but they will also gain greater flexibility to be even more expressive in their storytelling on the musical theatre stage.
