Located in NYC, Imagine Works offers a variety of classes & performance opportunities year round for tweens & teens!

In class, students will delve into the basics of Stanislavsky, Adler, Meisner and Strasberg acting techniques, as well as improvisation, voice & speech, and movement. Students will learn how to be responsive & engaged  listeners on stage in scene work, as well as create fully developed characters.

This class is also combined with a production of a mainstage play "The Neverending Story." Students will rehearse for this play in the final two hours of class. Last year our students performed an amazing production of "Little Women!"

Begins Saturday September 10th at 1:00pm-4:00pm. Final performances on November 19th at 2pm and November 20th at 11am. Auditions for "Neverending Story" will take place on the first day of class.

*Please note- this class is for kids ages 10-17.

In this 10 week class, students will work on:

-basic acting techniques, including a monologue

-basic vocal techniques and a solo

-dance techniques and a group song/dance

Everything will culminate in a lively showcase for family & friends at the final class. We have both a Tuesday and Thursday class.

Class begins Thursday September 8th OR Tuesday September 13th and goes for 10 straight weeks, ending on November 10th & 15th.

*Please note- this class is for kids ages 5-10.

All lessons are now available virtually! Virtual lesson prices are $40/hour or $25/half hour.

If a cancellation must be made, please email or call us prior to 2 weeks of the first day of class/camp for a full refund. Please understand that if a cancellation is made with less than 2 weeks notice, no refund will be given since it will be difficult to fill that vacant spot.

We understand students get sick, go on vacation, or have family obligations. However, due to the intensive collaborative nature of our program, students enrolled in our performance workshops or summer camps cannot miss more than 2 day of rehearsals. Notice must be given in advance of rehearsal if a student will be missing that day.

All of us at IWYT are dedicated to keeping our students & instructors safe. Since we operate in a professional entertainment venue, we must follow all NYC guidelines and mandates. For all in-person classes & rehearsals, our students will need to be fully vaccinated. Parents will not be allowed to enter the studio- you may drop students off outside the building or in the hallway. We are asking all parents to please be vigilant and keep your students home if you notice any troubling symptoms before class. Students and staff, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask at all times. We will be providing extra masks to students who need them. We also will have plenty of hand sanitizer in the room. The theatre also has air purification filters in every room.

Parent Testimonies:

"Thank you so much for all you and your staff have done for these children. I don't think my daughter would have made it through the pandemic and this strange year without her Imagine Works family. We are all deeply appreciative!
